I had no clue what RSS was until I started blogging and yet until recently I had “Subscribe for my RSS Feed” plastered about. Unless you know what this can do for you, why subscribe right?

According to the What is RSS? website – RSS stands for Rich Site Summary – a format for delivering regularly changing web content. Still too techy for me and I like visuals so I thought I’d share a You Tube video I found that explained RSS in plain English.

Believe me, this really does make it so much easier sorting through all your favorite blogs to read new posts and keeps your email box from overflowing.

A few months ago a friend tipped me off to HARO – which stands for Help A Reporter Out. I get three humorous emails a day from Peter Shankman with queries from journalists seeking sources for projects they are working on.
