Voter Freebies on Election Day

Voter Freebies for Election Day

Whether you’re a first time or seasoned voter, why not take advantage of some of the freebies being offered to voters. Here are a few links that I’ve come across that list some freebies for voters on Election Day:

Sisterly Savings: Freebies: Just for Voting Freebies HeadQuarters

ABC15 - Phoenix: If you vote tomorrow, you’ll get free stuff at Valley stores

Wallet Pop: Election Day freebies abound for voters: Starbucks, Krispy Kreme, Ben & Jerry’s and much, much more

There are many more links, but the majority seem to list the same freebies…Starbucks, Krispy Kreme, Ben & Jerry’s and Chick-fil-A.

Interestingly enough, according to the Daily Breeze these voter freebies may be breaking the law in California. Visit the Daily Breeze to read the whole article.

Do you know of a voter freebie for tomorrow’s election day? Please share it with us!

Businesses Offer More Than Just Birthday Rewards

Free Birthday Treats

We’re all looking to save a penny here and there so I thought I’d share  additional benefits of joining businesses’ email lists, VIP clubs, birthday clubs or reward programs.

The businesses included in the directory at Free Birthday Treats all offer a birthday freebie or discount and some of them will send a friendly welcome email with a special offer enclosed.

For instance, AMF Bowling Centers offers one free game of bowling when you buy one game, Boston’s Gourmet Pizza offers a free appetizer, Smoothie King offers a buy one, get one free 20 oz. Smoothie, Dairy Queen offers a buy one, get one free 16 oz. Blizzard Treat while Chuck e Cheese offers a sweet deal on tokens: buy 40 get 60. All this just for signing up.

Businesses will also send out promotional emails and even more special money saving offers. I’ve received several email coupons from Sweet Tomatoes, Peter Piper Pizza and Sonic. In fact, I just received a special “Thank You” coupon in the mail from DSW Shoewarehouse - $10 off a purchase of $10 or more good until December 24th.

Just a quick suggestion, it’s a really good idea to set up a separate email address just for receiving these offers, otherwise you’ll soon find your regular email overflowing.

Granted some people may not want to share their personal information with businesses just to get freebies and discounts, but for me, I feel it’s a win-win situation. I provide the business with a way to stay in touc with me and valuable demographic information while they provide me with money saving coupons.

I will note here that businesses offering birthday rewards through business sponsored credit cards or charge a fee to join a reward program are not included in the directory on Free Birthday Treats. In my personal opinion, I don’t think consumers should have to open yet another credit card account or pay a fee to receive rewards. What do you think?

One Goodie - One Day Sale Only

One Goodie

Their moto: One Goodie a Day at One Great Price!

Every weekday OneGoodie.com features OneFoodieGoodie and OneMommieGoodie on sale for just one day at a reduced price. For instance, today the featured items are The PepperMate Peppermill and Very Meri’s Shirts for School.

There is a limited quantity of each item and when they sell out or the 24 hours has run it’s course, that’s it. No second chances here…you snooze, you lose!

Well there is one exception - Fabulous Friday’s feature items. These goodies are available until Monday, 12:00am EST or until they sell out.

You can check out their About Us page to see how this all works and while you’re there you might want to sign up to find out what the next day’s OneGoodies will be. I missed out on yesterday’s goodie - a very cool Chef’s Center Cookbook Holder - bummer!
