Celebrate Elvis Presley’s 75th Birthday: Freebie & Sweepstake

Isn’t it amazing how some people leave such a lasting impression with us that their birthdays are still celebrated in their memory years after they’ve moved on to their resting place? Today is one of those days, Elvis Presely’s 75th Birthday Celebration.

My mother-in-law adored Elvis. She always wanted to visit Graceland, but money and health always seems to get in the way. Then back 1998, her dream came true! She still lights up like a candle when you ask her about her trip to Graceland. In fact, this year we even bought her a Elvis stocking which played snippets of some of his Christmas songs.

In remembrance of Elvis, there are several events, a freebie and sweepstakes being offered. If you visit Elvis.com, the official Elvis Presely website, there is information about ELVIS PRESLEY’s BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION for 2010 with events running through – Sunday, January 10.

The folks over at Photoshop Island are offering a Free Downloadable Pink Cadillac Calendar in celebration of Elvis’ 75th Birthday.
