Friday’s Featured Birthday Treat at Islands Restaurants
I’m thrilled to present the Islands Restaurants as my very first Friday’s Featured Birthday Treat segment! This very family friendly chain of restaurants has been one of my family’s favorites for a long time. They are located primarily in California and Arizona, but also have a location in Colorado, Hawaii and Nevada.
The Islands Restaurants are known for their “Island” decor and menu selection. They have delicious appetizers, yummy burgers, chicken sandwiches, soft tacos, soups, salads and more. We usually end up with their delicious nachos, hearty and tasty tortilla soup and my son loves to order a his burger “Hawaiian style” from the Gremmie menu.
Now for those of you familiar with the Islands Restaurants, you used to have to order the fresh cut fries on the side, but now they are now selling the burgers with the fries. YUM!
For kids they have a great Gremmie menu with some locations even offering a Kids Eat Free Night (see below for the locations/times). The offer is buy one adult meal and get up to two free kids meals.
The Islands Restaurants also offers a free birthday treat for those that join Tiki Link. When your birthday nears, you’ll receive an email wishing you a Happy Birthday and a coupon for a FREE dessert – either a slice of Kona Pie or Chocolate Lava (seen in picture). This offer is good during your birthday month. We love the Chocolate Lava!

For every $100 in gift cards purchased this holiday season, Islands will send you a $20 gift card to use in January 2009.

My mouth is now watering for the Malibu Burger and the Rincon Burger. I love a good burger and Island’s knows how to do it right!
Oooh I love Islands! It is one of my Favs here in San Diego. I always get their YAKI chicken soft tacos, MMM! Their CHINA COAST salad is great too.

I’m boring, whenever I go to Islands I get the CA Flyer Chicken. But I always eye the Kilauea and debate getting it! And I would love to win this because we never get to go out to eat anymore (money is tight, hubby got laid off

One of my favorite dishes is the Baja Soft tacos. They cook it to perfection. Everyone I know loves their soft tacos. I also love that my boys love their sandcastles (grilled cheese) ! Thanks for yummy giveaway.

I usually go to Islands in Paradise Valley when I visit my son and his family in Arizona. For me it’s all about the fries, they are awesome. I also think their burgers are great, especially the Sunset Burger. Thanks for the giveaway.

I joined the Island tiki link. I live in Illinois but my son and grandchildren live in CA so we visit there freuently.
I like the Baja soft tacos and Jungle Ceasar Salad. I am also fond of their exploding margaritas (no joke, I once was served a frosty margarita at Islands in a hot glass which subsequently exploded on our table). I would like to win this contest so I can order several rounds of Margaritas, it’ll be kind of like russian roulette.
