Karito Kids Review and Giveaway

I was more of a tom-boy growing up so I never did understand my girlfriends’ fascination with their dolls, but after having a daughter of my own and watching her play for hours on end with her dolls, I could see her imagination blooming as she created their lives.
Now that she is older, I’m reminded every once in a while that she never got the American Doll that she diligently added to her birthday and Christmas wish lists. So when I had the opportunity to right what she tells me is a wrong, I jumped at the chance to review one of the new Karito Kids.
There are six adorable and fashionably dressed dolls from six different countries: Ling, Pita, Lulu, Zoe, Gia and Piper and according to their website:
Karito Kids highlight the beauty of each ethnic group and depict modern-day life in each country and culture, showing you the similarities shared by kids around the world.
When little Zoe arrived at our home my daughter just looked at me and said “Now you get a doll like I wanted!” She didn’t show any real interest until I took Zoe out of her box and she got a good look at her fabulously stylish outfit and super cool Converse shoes.

She was so impressed that she decided to write her own review. So from her perspective:
Wow! That’s a word that can sum this doll up easy. Or “crazylicious” in Zoe’s words.
Zoe is an adorable doll that’s soft yet durable, perfect for any age girl. Here I am, 14, and I’m absolutely in love with her! I could imagine any girl being happy with such a cute doll.
See, Zoe isn’t a stick thin figure, and I love that most. She’s made with perfect proportions so no girl will feel ashamed of her own unique body. Zoe is also a very life-like doll. Her eyes look like they’re real and her freckles show her skin isn’t perfect. Her face is nice and round plus her outfit is to die for. She wears bright colors and her smile is just perfect for the attitude she portrays.
Her book is fun and has an interesting plot that is sure to hook any girl!
The website is absolutely fabulous, like Polly Pockets but better because you can have your doll and do all these fun things based on her. On top of that, you can collect World Change coins, and donate it to food, health, home or school for kids in need. Tell me that we don’t need that nowadays.

As you can see, my daughter thinks very highly of Karito Kids. With their stylish fashions and high quality workmanship, it’s easy to see why a young girl would love them.

Karito Kids can be purchased through their online store for $99 and once the activation code has been entered, 3% of the suggested retail price can be directed to a favorite cause within the Plan.
Now I had planned on keeping Zoe as a gift for my daughter, but she feels that we should give her away to someone who would have more time to enjoy her. Zoe was only out of her packaging for a brief time so one lucky winner will be getting a brand new Karito Kid that would make an awesome birthday or Christmas gift.
