When I first started out on this journey of hunting down birthday freebies, I never even gave a second thought to my fun-loving cat, Duchess. That was until I did my TV interview and went out scouting to see what kind of props I could get to display and awe the audience.

Now how could I have overlooked such an adorable creature who loves to take over my work space? I, like I’m sure many others, just didn’t think there were any birthday freebies out there for pets. Wrong! For instance, PetsSmart has a PetPerks program and they offer a free birthday treat to dogs and cats in the form of a small toy or snack valued at $3-$4. Complete Petmart has a pet birthday club which offers free pet food as well. There are a few others I’ve found and I will continue to update the directory on Free Birthday Treats so be sure to check it out!
