Southwest Airlines: 4th Quarter 72 Hour Sale

Southwest Airlines dropped their airfares on October 27, 2009 for their 4th Quarter Sale! Tickets must be purchased by October 29, 2009, 11:59 p.m. PST and travel completed between December 2 – 16, 2009 and January 5 – February 10, 2010.
With fares this low, you should invent a reason to go. But remember, there’s no “OT” on this sale. So put on your game face and score a cheap trip before it’s too late!
I’m sure we can invent all types of reasons to travel: anniversaries, birthdays, the holidays, reunions or just to get out of town. Just don’t wait too long or this sweet deal will slip away.
UPDATE:
UPI.com recently posted an article (Seeking passengers, airlines turn to sales) stating that:
AirTran has one-way sale prices of $39 on short routes in an offer that ends Nov. 10.
JetBlue and Frontier Airlines are matching sale prices on competitive routes.
