When it comes to children and getting them to sleep at night it can sometimes resemble mixing oil and water…they just don’t mix. I can’t tell you how many times I let my son (yes, I know it’s not good to get into this habit and he doesn’t anymore) sleep in our bed because he was having bad dreams. Had I have had the Stardust 2-disc CD set with the soothing voices of Cher and Gene Klosner singing my son to sleep with songs like “Count Your Blessings (Instead of Sheep)”, I would have saved myself hours of frustation!

My kids and I love to listen to music throughout the day and this dynamic duo, who just happen to be shooting for a Grammy in 2009, did not disappoint. Not only have they taken some of the traditional lullabys and added their own flare which is appealing to kids of all ages, but created some new songs that are sure to become favorites for all. They even took it a step further and created instrumental tracks so you and your kids can sing along.

And can you believe that Cher’s husband, Ben, who just happens to be an Emmy Award-winning artist/animator for “The Simpsons” did all the cover artwork and is spearheading the animated DVD that will be out in 2009?
